 BBC Weather app

When I tap this app on my android 'phone lately it has been showing weather for Pettycur, although I'm in Inverkeithing. Yesterday it showed Portobello for a short while. Makes no difference if wi-fi is on or not. Anyone else? Been happening on my wife's phone too.

I had a similar thing a few months ago with another weather app. It put me about 30 miles away. When I tried Google Maps it also put me in the same place so the problem was with the phone`s location and not just the weather app. The problem stopped after a few weeks and no one seemed to be able to tell me why it happened.
