The deal I had with Sky for Sorts is coming to an end pushing my bill up my £30/month. Phoned Sky earlier & they can reduce it by a tenner. Sure there was a guy on here who offered deals to fellow Pars fans now & then. If anyone knows him or can help let me know, otherwise it`s getting cancelled!

with Ofcom now changing working practices the deals that were previously available are much more limited now. The end of contract/out of contract notification process will identify price you pay now, price at end of offer/contract then best price available in the market. Usual route of threaten to cancel etc could yield some better.

Wouldn’t even be willing to pay the £78, prices are ridiculous and you wonder why so many turn to illegal streaming.

I`ll be calling up when my deal runs out Rasta.
I dont mind 78 for the full package + line rental + internet....that`s not bad, but when its doubling.....no chance.

There's no way you'll be expected to pay that imo...

If you do nothing, they will happily increase your bill to the `full price`.

Virgin do their full package for the same price but the broadband is faster and more reliable, you get a mobile SIM with unlimited data and BT sport is included as well.
You don't get SKY Atlantic though if that's important to you.

I would imagine, a significant number of subscribers pay full price or close to it.
Otherwise, if everyone was getting 30%/40%/50% off, why would they bother with a large department of `retention` staff?
Surely if `everyone` was demanding cut-price deals, it would be cheaper and more cost effective to simply reduce prices and save headcount/salary costs

I`m paying less now than I was on my previous deal, and I`ve added Netflix

If you are fortunate enough to be in an area with Virgin Media then you have them by the short and curlies. You can play one side off against the other. Of course they know this so almost all the time they just give you a special offer to stay. Virgin Media is the superior internet service anyway. Doesn`t sky just piggy back onto the BT network?
And although my eyes were open
They just might as well be closed

There is ALWAYS offers on with Sky and they are available to every customer (providing they are not in a debt cycle) at any time. As long as you are willing to reset your 18month contract to day one.
All you have to do is call. So no sneaky plays or haggling necessary, just state to the advisor you are looking to review your package.
Of course you still get the tadgers who think the offers should automatically be applied to their account with no contact needed as they are obviously more important than every other customer.
It’s simple. Phone, ask, get

My bundle is 53.50 a month. Apparently it should be 40.50 more than that, but when I said I was leaving, it was discounted, as happens every time I have called.
I've had sky for many years, and have never paid the listed prices. I'd be surprised if many people do.
