 Cat enclosure

Wonder if any of you guys know if anyone does something similar to this

https://protectapet.com/products/protectapet-cat-fence-barrier-kit

Lost my cat last week, he was run over 😞😞 and if we were to get another one, would want it to be kept in the garden, rather than risking this happening again.

Any advice or tips would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Sorry to hear Big T, I’m assuming the rest of your garden is escape proof? A lot of money to spend and cats are pretty nifty and tend to find a way out of a load of situations if they put their mind to it!

Cheers buddy. Yeah, I know it's expensive, but the last week has been awful, especially for the kids. That's my worry though, spend a fortune and they still get out.

Sorry to hear Big T.

One thing you can try on fences is PVC roofing panels. Cats can’t get their claws in these and can’t climb them. Fairly cheap for a small garden.

Another thing to put on the top of fences is a pipe that can rotate freely when a cat tries to climb on them. Google ‘coyote rollers’ and you’ll get the idea.

A lot depends on how motivated the cat is. A feral cat might find a way, but a house cat that doesn’t know about the world beyond the garden might give up after a few failed attempts to climb the fence.
