True enough, but the assumption of a stabbing is something more serious than someone getting a jab with a butter knife.

A butter knife on the mean streets of Dunfermline is more likely than a fork though.
There's been no follow up by the Dunfermline Press reporter so I'm assuming nothing more came of it.
