Travis’s Fran Healy who now resides in Los Angeles had to get emergency medical attention after being mauled by a sausage dog. The ungrateful beast was running about loose after scarpering from a traffic accident and Fran grabbed it to save it from being run over.
The dogs owner ( and the dog) live in Fleetwood Mac’s Stevie Nick’s old hoose
If anyone can write a song about this Fran is The Man Who can ….

At the risk of being proven wrong I think `mauled` is maybe surely a bit of a stretch.
And although my eyes were open
They just might as well be closed

I agree TWOK, but that’s what he said, and he does have a way with words.
Anyway isn’t everything is bigger in the USA, including hot dog dogs?
He also mentioned first responders was a fire engine from which “five Calvin Klein model lookalikes” emerged ….
This song is gonna be a belter!

Being a veteran of the Swingin’ Sixties 1999 is modern to me…Anyhoo hasn’t he done well for himself, residing in the neighbourhood Stevie Nicks moved out of?

1998 was the height of Travis mania. Still a good band but the world has moved on from indie bands. I must be showing my age as I think most music nowadays is dross. A recent surprise was Willow Smith (Will Smith's daughter) who actually has a fantastic voice.

I quite enjoyed the last Travis album, an excellent collection of well crafted songs. Fran should have kicked the dugs head in after that though. To be honest he shouldn't have tried to assist it anyway, too many people injure themselves trying to save animals from danger, staggering amount of people drown trying to save dogs. Best advice, let them go

Saw photo online - nasty puncture wounds to a couple of fingers.
Picking up a distressed wee dug is not to be advised.

Why was that dog not trained or on a lead?
Is it because his owner's nowhere to be seen?
Why was that dog not trained or on a lead?
Even when it's sh*ite-ing it still looks frightening.
