Last night a friend alerted me to Scotland playing Bangladesh in the Cricket T20 World Cup and Bangladesh were favourites to win being ranked 6th in T20 World Rankings compared to Scotland`s 14th). What a match and a brilliant win by Scotland with some great partnerships by lower order batsmen and some good bowling and fielding. https://www.t20worldcup.com/video/2294841

That result seems to have taken the cricketing world by surprise. I see the star of the show, Chris Greaves, was born in S Africa. Does he have a Scottish granny?

Scotland qualify for the Super 12s into a group comprising Afghanistan, India, NZ. Pakistan and the runners-up from the other qualifying group who will be decided tomorrow.
