Just seen on news there was a car bomb attack at a Liverpool hospital yesterday, seconds before remembrance day service at 11am
4 men have been arrested aswell as bomber dying in taxi. I usually watch the news Daily but missed this all together

Was reading about it this morning having heard it on the news. I assumed it was a victim who died at first. Sounds like the taxi driver saved a few lives by locking the guy in an scarpering.

Story I read was he'd left the taxi having locked the guy in and it went off with him close to the taxi. Bomber dead, taxi driver with minor injuries.

Video on YouTube shows taxi pulling up, immediately bomb goes of then driver escapes.
Don't want to post link as it may offend others.

Admittedly, the story I read cited the Daily Mail as its source so I'll accept what you've seen is probably far more accurate! Still quick thinking by the driver to lock the doors.

Can only comment on what I`ve read and seen same as jake89 and 1885 but it would appear that the taxi driver spotted the explosives and locked the doors from his drivers seat .. the bomb then went off killing the maniac and the taxi driver managed to escape with minor injurie`s .. What a bloody Hero that man is .. he has probably saved countless lives as well as unborn babies .. He has to be honoured for that

Given he's been discharged from hospital fairly quickly, it would appear any injuries are minor, so he should be able to answer a lot of the questions the police will be keen to ask him.
I'll take his account above any speculation on social media.
