Aye Busspass, nae bother - I think it was Widtink taught me how to do it a couple o` years ago.
1. right click on the image
2. left click `copy image address`
3.go to the message box and right click. From the menu that appears, right click `paste`.
The image address should appear, something like:
https://www.radios-tv.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/wpforo/attachments/776/126623=24989-Continental1.jpg
4. Put this [ img ] at the start of the address, so for the above, it would be:
[ img ]https://www etc... BUT WITHOUT SPACES ( I can`t do it without spaces here to show you because it disappears)
5. at the end of the address, put this [ / img ] BUT WITH NO SPACES
6. If you`ve put the address and bookended it with [ img ] and [ /img ] so long as you haven`t included any spaces that should be it.
7. Press `post`
Can you try it and see if it works?
ps. that`s how it is for images and gifs. And I think that`s it for you tube videos as well, but I`ve forgotten how to start a youtube video after a specific time - say I want to start it after 26 seconds. Widtink - can you remind me please?

Just tried it on my MacBook oautp but no copy image address when I right click is that because its a mac ? .. I really am hopeless at this sort of stuff :(

On a Mac when you right click the image one option should be ‘copy image link’ which is equivalent to the windows ‘copy image address’

Thanks Sap Par i found copy image address I think the problem was i was clicking pics already in my own pics if that makes sense
