 Urgent Passport Advice

My Granddaughter has signed her new passport beside the photo and not on the line under the photo If she signs it on the line which will mean 2 signatures will this be acceptable or render the passport void .. Help they go on Hol very soon !!

I think the post office do a checking service. The main post office did anyhoo. Dunno if the branches have the neccessary skills.

Is it not all read by a computer. Thats why the crosses and sigs have to be in the exact place and in black ink. The computer wouldnt pick up the spare signature.

The one in abbeyview does a checking service & they can send it away for you aswell, got mine back within about 2 weeks using that service.

For years my wasn`t even signed and no-one cared.

Could try calling the passport office. Is it an adult or child passport?
