Hey folks ... My central heating boiler (though still fully operational) was installed by Methuselah`s Grandfather and is hugely inefficient so it`s time has come ... esp. given the current situation.
It`s a cast iron Baxi Bermuda from the late sixties ... it never needs parts but if it did I`d need to approach a museum!
May I ask for your personal recommendations for installers and/or experiences I wouldn`t want to replicate?

Not used them but I`ve heard good things about AM Reid. They did my neighbours boiler and some radiators and seemed pretty decent.

Gastec just changed my back boiler to Combi in loft. Had about 6 guys and completed in a day.

I put out a similar message on here a few years ago and Forth Gas Ltd in Thornton was the one I ended up going for.Was the cheapest quote I got, Robert did it in a day and worked until 10 pm to make sure it was done.Had no issues since.
