When I used to fire up my old PC, I used to see random, but stunningly beautiful pics from either Google or Microsoft - can`t remember - before my own page came up, but now I just see something hazy, completely out of focus. Recently, I saw a beautifully clear pic of a pond in the Loire valley and was asked to like it, which I did. I then got a message to say I`d be seeing a lot more pics like that one, soon.
Still waiting.... Back to the hazy pics again. 🙁
Anyone able to give me child level instructions as to how I can fix this? I remember some of the pics totally lifting my mood on a dreich morning.

If it’s Windows 10, then I think the path is :
Start >settings >personalisation>Lock Screen>windows spotlight

It is Windows 10, Tad. Tried your suggestion.
The photo is clear for a micro sec and then goes fuzzy. :-(

Try start>settings>personalization>colors and switch ‘Transparency effects’ off.
