In the Tour de France today when the two rivals for the Tour title were facing off against each other and in a downhill segment Pogacar, the reigning champion, slipped on the gravel surface and went down. Vingegaard who is currently leading, seeing his rival down, sat up and waited for his rival to get back onto his wheel. True sportsmanship and wonderful to see in the modern, win at all costs, sporting world. Vingegaard went on to beat his rival in the subsequent climb and looks set the win the Tour barring any major mishaps.
Wonderful to see however in what was a really gripping ding Dong battle between the pair.
