Bought 2 pairs of joggers but when I tried them on at home they were a wee bit too short in the leg

My Daughter took them back for me 40 mile round trip .. and they refused to refund the money saying they don`t do refunds but gave her a credit note instead

Has to be against the law surely ??

If there`s no fault, the shop is under no obligation. It`s the buyer`s responsibility to confirm the goods before leaving the shop.

A lot of retailers refund out of goodwill but Sports Direct...

If you buy online it`s different. You have something like 2 weeks to "accept" the goods, allowing you to return for a refund. You have to pay the postage costs though.

Always been like this with Sports Direct, unfortunately. Could you not use the credit to buy the size up?

Only a matter of time before Sports Direct (now Frasers) take on that Debenhams unit as a big Sports Direct, Game and something else. Look up who they own and prepare for a shock.
