Lamont Dozier of Motown prolific song writing machine Holland - Dozier - Holland passed away aged 81.
They penned a pile of hits for the Supremes, Four Tops, Martha and the Vandellas, Isley Brothers, Temptations etc etc. , many songs later covered by other artists as well eg Rod Stewart, Phil Collins
Royalties must have rolled in by the wheelbarrow
