Angela Lansbury, the star of Murder She Wrote, as well as a number of golden era Hollywood movies has passed away of natural causes aged 96.
And although my eyes were open
They just might as well be closed

Me and my wife recently watched Bedknobs and Broomsticks again. I said it seemed odd why they chose such an old leading man, we thought Angela was early thirties then and he was about mid fifties. I looked it up - she was 45 and he 53. It`s a pity in that film they didn`t give her a really good dance and song to showcase those talents that she had. A great entertainer and someone easy to like, we almost felt as if we knew her personally.
