“Police Scotland are attending an ongoing incident in Princes Street, Edinburgh.

Bomb disposal officers are examining a suspicious item that was found after reports of a man acting suspiciously. Waverley Station and surrounding streets also closed.”

Clearly wasn`t a bomb or we`d know about it. Loads of tourists around and one may be missing a backpack!

The incident was phoned in at 17:30 and princess street was still shut when I left waverley at midnight last night and there was police everywhere. So there must have been something to trigger that.
