Tosh Mac is over in Scotland for a short holiday this week. He`s planning to be in Dunfermline on either Thurs or Friday. I remember you were disappointed you missed him last time he was over, a few years back.
If you give me your email or phone no. I`ll get in touch with you once I know when he`s in town. I`m reliably informed his travel insurance will be hiked up to the highest tariff for his journey back to Canuckland. 😃

Unfortunately not related to a previous Pars manager, though Pop Duncan at Camdean presented me with that honour.
Thursday we watch our grandson and on Friday I have a former workmates funeral (3 in a week)
I am in hospitality on Saturday, is Tosh going there?

That`s a shame. AFAIK, Tosh isn`t going on Sat. He has family over with him and they`re based in Edinburgh for the week. Said he would let me know which day he`s coming over. 3 funerals in a week? Wtf? We young fellas better watch our backs! The Pars manager clue was to see if Canpar knew you. I`ll let you know the time and venue if he`s over on Friday - maybe you can pop in and see him - it`ll be a town centre pub and they`ll probably be in all day.

Cheers GG...Just remembered 2 grandkids Thursday due to striking teachers!
Been a terrible week for former workmates, cancer, aneurism and old age being the causes, as they say once the black tie is out.
Let me know what hostelry you are visiting, I have to visit the library for a project and memorial that I want to arrange.

Tosh has lived in Canada for some 40 years now. Played for the Pars, the wee team and the Blue Brazil. He`s over in Scotland to celebrate a milestone birthday with relatives and friends.

Was up there just before 3 pm thinking he was there for the afternoon. No sign of him. ☹ Emailed him and he said late change of plan was due to poor forecast for Thurs, Fri. Wtf does it matter if you`re in a pub?
Planning to see him in Edinburgh before he goes back so I can give him a good kick in the nether regions. 😃

I popped over to Edinburgh to meet up with him yesterday, LA. He could get a job as Santa with that white beard. Said he remembers you well and that you were a good player. I told him his memory was playing tricks on him. 😃
He also said you`re even older than him.... 😃

Great to hear Tosh is back home GG. Let him know that all the old retired Tech`s from Woodmill HS are asking for him, me Kev and Alex. Must be about twenty years since we all met up and we even had time for a game of footy with Tosh down at the school PE dep.

He`s only over for a week - flying back to Canada today, Ziggy. Came over to celebrate a milestone birthday with relatives, the poor auld git. His football playing days are well behind him now, but with all that titanium alloy in both hips, he`s worth more now than when he was in his prime. 😃
