Blocked sink and kitchen flooded.
Tried local plumbers but numbers ringing out.
I can’t turn the valves on the pipes underneath the sink as they appear to be jammed. I’ve for one of those long curly steel thingies but it’s not clearing it either.
Can anyone help / recommend someone.

Put a basin and some towels under the white plastic pipes that lead up to the sink buffy .. then unscrew them they will be where the block is clean them out and re-connect .. Wish I was closer or would do it for you .. Its not too difficult and will save you a fortune

ETA do you put coffee grounds down the sink ?

You got vinegar and baking soda buffy? If you do then pour some boiling water down the plug followed by a cup of baking soda then a cup of vinegar stick the stopper in the plug and give it 10-15 mins then pour more boiling water down it that should shift it

BuspassPar I can’t get the white pipes to unscrew - they appear to be tightly connected and I’ve managed before. They’re just no budging. X

Trying putting marigolds on. It might give enough extra traction to unscrew pipes.

Aye the aulder sibling delivered a bottle o strong stuff which seems to have done the trick
Noo just trying to remind the gaffer not to put her leftover food doon the plug hole. For the hundredth time.
FWIW the kitchen flair is sparkling efter its wash doon and smelling o fairy washing powder!
