It looks like they`ve managed to get it under control before it`s gone up properly. Absolute disgrace it`s been left vacant in the first place. If I were cynical I`d be thinking it convenient that a listed building should burn down...

Work in an adjacent building and was evacuated today. They say five firefighters injured, one of which critical. The one critical was dragged out by four or five firemen and given chest compressions so fingers crossed he’s ok. Wasn’t a great start to the week.

BBC Scotland news updated 4 mins ago to say the firefighter in hospital is still in a critical condition. I hope he recovers.

I’d heard it was caused by a gas explosion as well and Barry was right at the front at the time.
