 Aberdour the avenue to Dalgety Bay

This was being completely tarmaced a few weeks ago and they were working on the last bit near Braefoot

Does anyone know if it`s now complete?

I thought the title of this thread was the new marketing campaign for Aberdour.

No idea if complete but if it`s anything like how slow they`ve been on Aberdour Road and the road that runs between Crossgates and Inverkeithing then I suspect not.

Went from Dalgety Bay to Cowdenbeath last week, only hit roadworks at Mossmorrran, where the ramps between the sections were suspension wreckers!

A nice walk, especially when the daffodils are in bloom.

A little of the beaten track, the wooded hill just off the southern path has well preserved remains of the old WW1 gun-emplacements, store buildings, magazines etc that guarded that part of the river. There is even a wee bit of the narrow gauge railway used to supply this facility.

It’s a steep climb, and quite eerie in the quiet trees...dinnae go alone!

Totally unrelated but does anyone know if the temporary traffic lights on Halbeath Rd near Asda are still there? Was at QMH on Tuesday at 5pm and it was an absolute fkn nightmare so after the game will be a disaster if so
