Last Two days running Kinlochewe in Wester Ross has been the warmest place in the UK with 21C The poor folk of Tain Range Easter Ross could only shiver in envy as they were the coldest with 4c.
This must be most unusual for two places in the same county? Some geographical reason

Loch Ewe, Aultbea region has always been like that, remember being up there late 60`s, palm trees and tropical plants.
They based the phenomenon on the Gulf Stream that passes that coast, similarly County Kerry in Southern Ireland has the same features.
