Appeared to be flames coming out the roof. I think it`s Khushi`s. Hopefully no-one in there and handled quickly. Road was shut at the side of the library.

Looks a big one.
"Fire crews are tackling a major blaze that broke out above an Indian restaurant in Fife.
The alarm was raised at about 18:10 on Friday after smoke was seen coming from the Khushi`s restaurant building on Canmore Street, Dunfermline.
Flames could be seen ripping through the top floor and roof of the property.
Surrounding streets have been cordoned off by police and six Scottish Fire and Rescue Service appliances are at the scene.
Police Scotland said officers were assisting SFRS colleagues with traffic management in the area.
There are several road closures on Maygate, St Margaret Street, Canmore Street and Guildhall Street."

Legitimate fires happen in kitchens fairly often. We have no idea what caused it and no reason to suggest foul play.

Legitimate fires do happen in kitchens, I have no idea how it started but pretty sure the kitchen is not in the attic.

I`m no expert but I do know that fires have a tendency to spread upwards.
