Randy Meisner one the founders of the Eagles passes away aged 77. Dogged by health issues in recent years unfortunately. A great contributor on one of the greatest albums ever.

I did read in one the obits that he often worried about singing that song live, whether he would hit the high note. So much so he refused to do it one show even though it was on the set list encore, much to the fury of Frey…I think more than words were exchanged!
