I don`t even know what you mean.

The only thing I can think of similar is cuddie-cod which my gran used to call it when she gave me a piggy back.

Without you saying what the meaning is it`s not easy to figure out for me.

Also a cuddie is a donkey not a pig which makes more sense cause nobody really rides pigs.

PARrot .. Maybe a piggie back ? .. or as we sometimes called a cuddie back
A cuddle was mainly a horse sif although you could argue a donkey as well

Privilege. Only spelled correctly courtesy of autocorrect.

Edited to add - A cuddie horse is a donkey as far as I'm aware.

I`m guessing cuddie-cod comes from cuddie for horse and possibly the cod meaning to deceive or amuse people?

I think we used to call that a `carry cod` but I never saw it written down.

It was always kiddy cod for me. Maybe the kiddy part refers to "kid on"?

There`s some discussion about various names in the comments of this facebook post and kiddy cod gets a mention:

The online scots dictionary has

cuddie-cod: To go piggyback.

but also

cod [U. kɔd]
n. A practical joker. A botch, a mess.
v. To joke, to kid.

and

kid on: To joke.

Wonder if there any references in old newspapers 🙂

Now for cuddie.

I always thought a cuddie was a horse. I was told it was because they chewed the cud, but coos chew the cud. Are all cuddie chewers cuddies.
