Anyone got recommendation on a cheap Android? Looking for new rather than second hand. Under £200 and not fussy on brand. In the past I`ve had Samsung, OnePlus, RedMi, Google and HTC (RIP).

I had an honor 9 lite as a work phone. It did 3 years without missing a beat. I think it was £150 in 2019.

Cheers JTH. I`ll give Honor a look. Problem I find with these Chinese manufacturers is they have a million versions of much the same phone!

I bought a Xiaomi Mi 9 over 4 years ago and at the time it was their `flagship`, basically a better spec than the redmi/note models. I can`t believe it`s lasted so long. Always having it in a Spigen case and never letting the kids dick about with it so that might have helped.
I was always so used to getting 18 months or so out of phones but this has been excellent. Only started considering a replacement now because the charging port is getting a bit loose. Next phone won`t be top end as even Xiaomis top model prices have rocketed.

I`ve currently got a Poco (Xiaomi)X3 pro, had for nearly two years and has never missed a beat. Before that a Xiaomi mimax3, and before that an Honor of some sort, all been good and way more bang for buck than a Samsung etc. As you say Jake, if you ain't bothered about the brand, some good handsets to be had.
Spotted this on HotUKDeals today, looks good too, especially with the code
