So .. As Christmas is approaching and I have more Pants and Socks you could shake a stick at I was thinking Mrs bbp could treat me to a Beer Machine :-)
Perfect Draught have some good offers on for November .. Machine plus 6 ltr keg of choice for £174

My tip would be don`t bother buying one and support your local pub instead👍

Been tempted in the recent(ish) past - however after finding independent reviews I decided the jury was still out.
Better stick with the excellent choice of craft beers available.
Will suit some folk, all down to personal preferences.

Had a Beerwulf sub for a few years and liked it but costs of the kegs kept going up.Admittedly it was free delivery and I gamed a bit with them, waiting for the discount code they always sent eventually and ordering the discounted kegs. Also great delivery as the Yodel driver knew me from pub.
Pity it packed in finally but I might yet get another.

One of my mates got one, and his alcohol consumption basically trebled until he got rid of it.
Too easy to pour a pint after work etc and all things considered, don’t think it was that cheap either

Novelty value for festive period then will sit collecting dust.
Getting roughly £3.70 ish a pint give or take some wastage and what kegs you buy - nicer ones are over £40 now; not really worth it IMO.

Had Perfect Draft for a few years now. They are excellent, best thing for me is the ability to pour whatever amount you want, I generally have 1/3 to a 1/2 pint at a time so it stays cold and fizzy.
The range is getting better constantly (a new German Style beer out today).
Cost is an issue as the kegs prices jumped a fair bit, but I am not remotely a big drinker. I have some at weekends and that`s it. Normally make a Keg last 3 to 4 weeks, but I know people who were going through a couple a week before unplugging it for good. Other bug bear is the length of time to chill a keg from room temperature, takes about 13 hours.
The Beer Hoose on Appin Crescent is an official supplier, so has the full range. He also has tonnes of already chilled kegs so you don`t have to wait 12 hours. He does the same deals as Perfect Draft website, empty keg trade in etc and has some stuff on tap for you to try. I would definitely go there.

Love mine! Don`t use it every weekend, but every few weeks or so, I`ll grab a keg as a treat.
