Going to Frankfurt for a few days with work managed to bag myself the best part of a day to myself just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for things to do. They don`t do stadium tours and the Frankfurt stadium this was the first thing I checked 😂.

Frankfurt bit of a soulless place, but a couple of nice towns within 20 mins on the train.
Darmstadt worth a visit, University town with a good vibe and a cracking Ratskeller in the town square.

Frankfurt bit of a soulless place,....
The good residents have the RAF and USAAF to thank for clearing some of the historic character in the 1940`s...the river was a useful navigation aid.
Went to Frankfurt late 90`s with University - studied Architecture so the buildings themselves were what we were there to study, however I do remember the following as being interesting back then;
Museum for Comic Art
Museum MMK for modern art
Museum for Communication
History museum Frankfurt

Soulless is a good description of Frankfurt. Very untypical of Germany as a whole.
Probably the Milton Keynes of Deutschland
