 Olympic Swimming - Mens 4x200 freestyle

Well done the four GB lads who took the Gold medal last night - Duncan Scott was raised in Alloa. A bit of a fan of the Wasps apparently.

First time there has been a successful defense of this event in the Olympics.

Some consolation for Duncan after coming 4th in the individual race. He was outstanding swimming the final leg of the relay and extended the team`s lead.

That was Duncan`s 7th Olympic medal. Only Jason Kenny and Bradley Wiggins have ever won more for GB-some achievement.

He put the power on in the 3rd length which caught most by surprise as he opened up a lead .. James guy played a huge part in the first .. well done to them all was a thrilling race

His determination is outstanding, as most of the top swimmers his dedication and effort to his training is exemplary.

I`m really hoping he can sneak a medal in the 200m IM as that would be proper consolation for the 4th in the 200m Free.
Even after 2 days he will still be beating himself up about that result

Silver medal for Duncan Scott in the individual 200m medley. He now has 8 Olympic medals in total I think which is a record for a Scot.
