Is there any prospect of introducing a facility for allowing readers to Agree or Disagree with posts?
This request may have been raised before and if so, was it considered and rejected or accepted as future change?
A bonus option would be an "Ignore poster" facility. :)

Not being smart, but surely the purpose of a forum is to provide a platform to agree or disagree? And with reasons rather than just a superficial Facebook-style smiley-or-frowney. The “ignore” thing has come up before. The issue is that ignoring certain posters will make many threads disjointed, perhaps nonsensical. In some cases you will in fact want to see the “ignored” posts just to see what is causing the controversy. Isn’t it easier just to skim over the folks you want to ignore, when you want to ignore them?

Was there not previously a thumbs up/down feature but only on the web version? I use the Android, which is fantastic, so never used it but I was sure there was something.
I`d love an ignore for certain posters but it would appear if someone quoted them.

I actual LOL’d at that :)
I think Brian did add a thumbs up/down on the web site at some point, but don’t think it’s there now. I’ll admit.. it would have been a pain to implement on the mobile apps, so I dragged my feet. I still believe that it’s not so important on a forum (as with “ignore”) as folks are here to see everything, warts and all. It ain’t Facebook ;)

yes, had various features, all it does is, I get dog`s abuse !!
I think the Thumbs up is still working, but people were abusing the thumbs down. (yes, belive it or not)
