Is it just down here? The number of cars driving around (often badly) with a stench of hash seems to be getting ridiculous....is it happening in other places too?
I`m walking quite a bit at the moment and it`s really grinding my gears.

Not car related, but we attended the Inverkeithing fire works on the 5th and all you could smell was hash 😂 openly smoking it in areas with children seems fine these days…….

Out of interest, not that I want to buy any, but how much does it cost, for say, a weeks supply? Someone I know well used to smoke it and I just wonder how much money was going up in smoke every month.

Edinburgh absolutely reeks of it. I think it may be in vapes though? I regularly smell it on Prices Street but can`t source it. All I see is guys with vapes.

Surely depends how much they smoke? Are they using it in a bong or are they mixing it with tobacco? How often are they smoking it?
The joints or vapes I smell in Edinburgh seem quite potent. There`s also a reek in Abbeyview to the point I`m convinced someone is growing it in the attic (I`m no grass so not saying which street but it reeks).

😂 hahaha TOWK. I grew up in a house reeking with smoke, and was susceptible to bronchitis. So I have a well honed aversion to smoking but I did Google the question of cost and reckon that because an ounce of the vile smelling stuff costs about 300 dollars in some American States and seemingly you can get about 40 smokes per ounce so depending on your usage you could be parting with 600 dollars a month, which, I think is about £400. That would account for about 2 or 3 smokes a day. But if you had up to 6 smokes a day, you could very well be parting company with £800 a month.

Seems to be a lot more prevalent these days than it was when I was growing up. Quite regularly see young parents out for a walk round Townhill Loch pushing a pram, reeking of it, and folk down the town stinking of it

You should go to Tenerife where the aroma is everywhere, although you can legally grow it for your own use.

Cycling to work nearly every day. The amount of works vans that pass me reeking of it is unreal

Once cycled passed a Perth and Kinross bin lorry doing its rounds stinking of it. That really ripped my knitting, but didn’t do anything about it, but thought, how can the management not notice the stench.

Once worked for a delivery company with a lad who would openly smoke a joint before coming into work every day and the mood swings would be off the charts. It actually made me move on as the company didn’t have any sort of policies against it and appeared to be a known thing within the business.

The increase in cannabis use is undoubtedly a cause in part of the increase in mental health issues these days. We should legalise it, tax it and then use that revenue to help fund treatment for the health problems this drug causes and to help equip the police with the resources needed to catch and prosecute those who drive with cannabis in their systems.
And although my eyes were open
They just might as well be closed
