 Jules and Greg’s Wild Swim

I’ve been enjoying the programme on their wild swimming adventures. There’s been some beautiful scenery and tonight was no exception.

I’ve yet to try a dook or two - usually just ankle deep in the sea for me - but many of my friends do the whole cold swim thing.

🥶

Probably best to start by going to one of the organised groups that get you prepared, breathing etc before you all take a group dip.

I’ve seen them doing that at aberdour when down with dog

It is fabulous country. Cycled most of it.

Decided to swim at one of the secluded beaches in Vatersay. Skin was stinging but very very refreshing.

Apparently the rip tides are really dangerous, so be safe even on a beautiful sandy beach.

Looking forward to watching it. I have the guys who filmed it on Facebook. They are called perfect view productions and filmed the Roaming in the Wild series from the boys in Beluga Lagoon.

If you haven’t seen they are worth a watch and sell out all the venues they play to. Awesome band.

Ye sounded like my mum there for a minute, Parsmad68 😊. She cycled all over Scotland, too.

I’ve given up going abroad on holidays - Scotland has so more much to offer imo and I’m not bothered about the weather.

Aye, DBP, my friends go to Aberdour quite often, at all times of the year. I think I’d be wearing a wet suit - no’ like their swimsuits and bikinis!
