Coming to Edinburgh, just like the World’s. I was in Glasgow and the way they had performed the tarmac was minimalist and also potentially dangerous as some of the riders found out. The tar was fresh enough that there was still a slick on its surface.
Anyway, why Edinburgh? Obviously capital city and isn’t it pretty but why not Inverness then on to the Highlands or Bealach na Ba style climbing.
Hopefully some of the roads will have a full proper coating than the nonsense of the worlds.
