A heavyweight champion in two eras, the great George Foreman has sadly passed away at the age of 76.
Winning the title first with a devastating two round knockout of Joe Frazier in 1973, then 21 years later winning it back at the age of 45 with by poleaxing Michael Moorer in 1994.
Ali, Frazier, Norton, Foreman....the last of the 4 Kings has passed.
RIP.

A superb boxer and a larger than life character and the last of that unique generation. We will never see their like again.
Sad news.
RIP, George.
It`s bloody tough being a legend

Just watched the movie “
Big George Foreman” last night too.
Really good movie and brought back lots of memories of when I followed boxing. Real characters around back then. I suppose that’s why you could make movies about those boxers from that era.
10 years out of the ring, comes back to win the heavyweight crown again at the age of 45 by beating a 26 year old !
RIP Big George….
What an opportunity we missed in 2014.
