539 entries for the world scotch pie championship held in Carnegie conference centre yesterday.

Imagine having to have a bite of each one. I’m a bit hefty already…it would be pie erse squared for me!

Results will be announced on 10 May…it does take a while to munch your way through 539 pies I suppose!
James Pirie butchers of Blairgowrie must be in the running, five times winners including last year.
