Did you know that Kiefer Sutherland has released several albums? He`s got a really good voice, gruff and smokey. I`m not into country music though so it`s not for me.
Stick that voice in a good rock band though and I`m in.

John Schneider successfully recorded a whean of Country material after "The Dukes of Hazzard" show finished on TV.
Including one No.1 album of the US Billboard Country Album charts and four toppers on the equivalent singles chart.
Clint Eastwood co-wrote and recorded a singles chart topper with Merle Haggard, I have it on my Sonos system.

He`s very good.. Saw him live in Aberdeen. Great music and he has some wonderful anecdotes about his and his father`s life.
I`m not really a country fan but still really enjoyed it.

24 is apparently coming back in the form of a movie thanks to Disney. It`s not guaranteed if it will feature JB or be a prequel. Seems pretty pointless making a 24 movie without Kiefer reprising his role.
I`d be happy if was a romantic comedy with Jack out of the Russian prison and living a peaceful life in the USA with the woman he loves. The comedic element would come from the ghost of President Palmer creating havoc as a friendly poltergeist 👻.
Some of his songs that aren`t less country are a bit like Bruce Springsteen.

There`s lots of showbiz celebrities who are into Country Music and many from wider popular music genres who embrace it likewise - I`d be here half the morning going into detail.
When the Beatles learned that their US label would be Capitol they were delighted to have insider access to Buck Owens pre-release stuff as they were fans. Ringo had recorded one of his songs on the "Help" album.
When it was rumoured that Merle Haggard`s longtime drummer was considering retirement Ringo expressed an interest in joining the band. The Proclaimers are also big fans of Haggard.
Keith Richard`s is also an enthusiast and has recorded a couple of duets with George Jones.
Elvis Costello went to Nashville and recorded a full album of Country standards - I also have a Tina Turner "Sings Country" CD.
When Ray Charles started at the ABC in 1960 he insisted on full artistic control of what he recorded - the label executives were aghast when his first album "Modern Sounds in Country & Western" was released - they changed their minds when they saw the sales returns and were more than happy when Ray did a Volume 2. Both albums still in print !!!

Not a fan of the genre, but I do appreciate a wee bit of Shania Twain and I`ll be visiting the country music hall of fame next week in Nashville, along with loads of other Metallica fans, no doubt 🤘🤘
