Have a look at Dale Bissland`s work. He paints mainly Scottish coastal scenes like the east neuk villages. Very realistic, which I like. He captures light really well, especially dawn and dusk.

I love art so much so I paint using watercolour, myself. (Commissions available at .net rates 😉).
Pro artists such as Scottish colourists including Peploe and Cadell are my favourite. Recently I’ve discovered Janet Bell who paints Scottish islands and wee cottages. Her colours are wonderful.

Just had a look at that, very good. Think I recognise his work from an album cover by a chap who was in The Coral.
Quite similar subjects to what I paint, although a lot darker, which I like
