American investors have taken over Britain`s oldest Ice hockey teams Fife Flyers.
The new owner`s identity has yet to be revealed, but they have appointed a new management team to run the club, led by former Cardiff Devils player Max Birbraer.
Fife Flyers, based in Kirkcaldy, confirmed the completion of the takeover on Thursday after its previous owners made the shock decision that they would put the club up for sale for the first time in almost 30 years.
Gareth Chalmers, former managing director at Glasgow Clan, has been appointed as chief commercial and operations officer.
