Maybe He`s got one eye on the the state of our agricultural, Parrot. In many areas south of the border, the crops are failing because of drought conditions. Here, it looks like being a bumper crop. But I guess we could do with a bit more heat in July. My boyhood school pal from Cowdenbeath lives in Queensland, Australia and, in the middle of winter, it`s 24degC. Here in the middle of July, we`re lucky to get 15degC. Very disappointing for parents with kids in their school holidays.

Scorched earth down here just now. If it goes on for much longer I think those folk on the boats are going to have to push them across the Channel.
Was over in France last week. Even with the 40 degree heat, their fields looked a lot healthier. Although there were some funny looking clouds around....perhaps Dandy has a point after all.

Omnipresent, I think is the word. But I think Dandy is suggesting that if we look at our old Summer photos of holidays in Scotland, we might find that the weather then was just as bad as it is now. I just remember that the Glasgow fair fortnight was anything but fair.

No, i`m not.
Im still waiting on you giving me a time and location of aircraft zig-zaging.
Im in a position to investigate what was going on from radar replays and voice comms between ATC and aircraft.
Next time you see it just note the time, you can use what 3 words to give a rough location or GPSTest to give exact location. Then direction you look in would help narrow it down.
Also if it`s at a low altitude or high will also help identify it.
This is an opportunity for you to get real evidence supporting your claims about Chemtrails.

There is a very significant "a" in that second sentence.

Is it not a very significant "e"?

While the BBC weather man spent most of his slot apologising for the next few days brilliant weather, he didn`t seem to realise that us people up here are turning cartwheels for sheer joy at the prospect.

I made the offer previously on the "Farage and Climate Change" thread.
I`ve just had a look at it and you didn`t supply any details on that thread.
I`ve searched all your posts on every thread since that date and again nothing found.
You might have thought you did but never clicked submit?
At no point have I scoffed at you over your chemtrails claims. I don`t believe it`s a thing myself but am open to being persuaded if there was evidence supporting it.
Something Im offering to look for as I have the ability to do that.

My very wise Aberdonian minister, here in Glasgow once said, " be careful what you ask God for, you might just get it". Today, I wish He would turn the heating down a bit. 29 degrees here.

Whilst standing in Scotland’s biggest glasshouse yesterday afternoon (Waverley station, to those unaccustomed to the new found tropics in Edinburgh) I asked the lass at Costa if she could just chuck some ice at me instead of putting it in the chai latte I’d ordered.
By the time I got on the train a few metres away the ice had melted, I had melted and my colleague had melted.
Perhaps ScotRail could buy some tropical plants and make the station mair attractive, together with air vents - big muckle ones!

Very good Parrot, I like that one. But not only mad dogs and Englishmen VEE. When my wife and I were in China in the middle of Summer, our Chinese friend asked us to go for a midday walk, when it was 40 deg C. I had to decline the offer by telling her we were definitely Scottish.
