Aged 99. RIP. Hope Palladin is with him.
How many of us grew up with Glen Michael’s Cavalcade? It ran from 1969-1982.

I mind Glen Michael’s TV show back in the ‘60’s - long before 1996.
The only Paladin I remember was Richard Boone (great actor) in “Have Gun Will Travel” TV series which had a popular theme song.

Me and my brother went up on stage with him at the Carnegie Hall when he came to Dunfermline and he made us balloon animals.
He then went down the high street in a horse-drawn carriage and then Glen went doon the Glen.
Saw him a few times when we played at Somerset supporting his beloved Ayr United.
Glen, Rusty and Paladin made Sunday afternoons great.
RIP

I think it must have been 1992? I was born in 81 but can remember Cartoon Cavalcade as a kid and the broadcast from the bike track up at the Glen.

They must have repeated Glen Michael as I remember being very small and seeing him on TV introducing cartoons.

Suspect the original BBC story has been corrected, changing it from Buffy`s original post.
It used to keep me quiet when we went out to see my gran and grandad each week and I`m sure it was well passed 1982. I think I can remember being quite sad when it stopped even though I was well passed watching it at that time.
Not a bad way to spend your life, making so many kids so happy for as long as that.
RIP Glen.
