Surprised that decent sized bands don`t play there more often. Only been to one gig there, Dropkick Murphys, and was really impressed with the venue. Great Sound and mental crowd. Loved it

Skids and Belle & Sebastian for me. I only go to see bands without "The" in their name there, so might be along to this.

Paul Weller played not long ago, Kasabian, Morrissey, Ocean Colour Scene just quickly off the top of my head.

I`ve seen Biffy Clyro, Bloc Party, Charlatans and Twin Atlantic there. All four gigs were great. Bloc Party in particular were great (pre them losing half the band).
I think the issue is it`s an in-between size of venue. Too big for small bands, too small for big bands. Somewhere like Dunfermline doesn`t typically sell out the bands in the middle.

All tickets seem to have sold in the presale yesterday in a matter of minutes. No tickets for general sale today. Gutted.

Well, that`s rubbish.
Thanks for highlighting this on Tuesday Jake. At least one, possibly two, of mine might become available - I`ll give you first dibs, face value, if so. It won`t be until much nearer the time though.

Cheers. I noticed they`re £300+ on Viagogo and that`s less than an hour after general sale 🤦♂️

If you want a real conspiracy theory, you should look into who owns Ticketmaster and Viagogo and how they both now hold a monopoly over the live events and ticketing world.

I was all set at 9:59 this morning, then hitting refresh repeatedly as it hit 10am. Absolutely nothing. What a waste of folks time.

If only you were "Jefrey" you might have just bumped Jake on the waiting list.
Update: One at most now and I think that`ll only be if he`s on holiday. They`re away quite a lot so don`t rule it out, but take any other opportunity you can. On the plus side, it means we should know one way or another with a few months to spare.

I seem to hear `Where is my mind` (usually various covers) all the time these days. They`re not the same without Kim Deal, but still, it will be bouncing. If I wasn`t such a socially awkward neurotic mess I`d be there.
Dream opening act would be Dinosaur Jr or Mudhoney, even though they`re superior bands imo.

I`d love to see J play live, what an amazing guitarist with an `I don`t give a feck` vocal performance.
Fun fact, Kurt wanted him to join Nirvana but thankfully he turned him down. `Where you been` us one of my favourite albums. Also, from an earlier album, buthow good is Freak Scene (rhetorical).
