I`m maybe getting soft in my old age, but think it`s pretty Baltic this afternoon, with that snell wind coming off the North Sea, so I donned the full monty when I picked up my 6 year old granddaughter from school. I was amused to see two brave blokes wearing shorts. 🥶
I couldn`t help wondering if the fact that both lads were sporting tatoos on their legs is significant. 🤔

Nope - uninked male here that wears shorts 95% of the year. Only time you’ll find me in trousers is at work (have to 🙄), at the football or out for a day sesh in jeans (which is barely ever now)!
Obviously events like weddings etc are a must, but think Ive only worn trousers twice in the last 12 months outside of those times, and thats cause its been baltic and not having the car for the school run 😂
It’s just comfier and if you’re pretty warm blooded you don’t feel it.

For some it will be. I remember an interview with Big John (Exploited, Goodbye Mr McKenzie) about 25-30 years ago and he said he wore shorts to show off his tattoos.
I`m year round too. No tatts. There was a mid-week game against The Rovers when we were getting to go back to games again after lockdown. That was the first time since the last day in the office, over 18 months beforehand, that I`d worn long trousers.

Yep, another winter short wearer. I do have a Metallica tat on my leg, but I always wore shorts, before getting it.
