There`s a distinction to be made between a country and their government. God forbid I be associated with any party or government as they`re all pretty ineffective and none fully support my personal views (and that would probably be quite difficult!).
Like any nation, when I meet Americans who are visiting you get the good ones and the bad ones. Brits can`t claim to be any better (just watch Boozed Up Brits Abroad).
While Trump is easily the worst and most dangerous President they`ve ever elected, we in the UK are potentially going to elect the watered down version with Farage!

I had this email this morning from my Scottish born Aunt, who now lives in USA.
Are they really that brainwashed?
USA is that good that she has now moved to South Africa!
I am really into the running of the government.....mainly America and I really am into President Donald Trump.
I have seen Nigel Farage of the Reform UK party and I must say he sounds almost like Pres Trump with the same ideas for the people of Britain that Trump has for the USA.
I just saw Rupert Lowe (Great Yarmouth) of the Restore Britain Party and feel he has the same ideas as Pres Trump and Farage but is much calmer than Farage.
Britain has the same problems as the US and Europe. I kind of like Rupert Lowe to be Prime Minister, more statesmanlike??? Keir Starmer is a total mistake, a weasel. How on earth did he get into the PM`s role? Totally useless.

apologies, I should have made that point clear,
I have no issues in general with the amereica people, I have worked with a few over the years.
though I have issues with those in th eTrump administration and Republicans.
I just hope those that voted for him have woken up
However, my main concern is now that trump is using ICE to shut people up
