Poor guy has oesophagus cancer. Hope he beats it but it`s a cancer with a low mortality rate. They have caught it early though so he`s got a chance. I`m a huge admirer of big football encyclopedia of a brain.
Come on Danny, you`re one of the good guys and the airwaves are significantly poorer without you on them.

Will be extra worrying for him as he could lose his voice, which will mean his presenting career could end! Hopefully he can beat it!

My dad (79) had this recently, and was caught early. Wouldn`t even know he had it now.

My Mum was diagnosed with the same last January, she sadly passed away in October. It’s a really horrible cancer with some terrible side effects such as being unable to swallow.
Hope Danny has caught his early enough.
