Due to a free ball before any balls were potted he went on to make a record breaking...er....break of 153. One hundred and fifty three. Amazing. Only a poorly placed black stopped it being a maximum 155.
I wonder if we`ll ever see a 155 🤔.
I recently found out that Marco Fu scored 148 in an exhibition match (it`s on YouTube, pandemic era so no crowd), and Scotlands very own Jamie Burnett also scored 148 in a tournament match but it wasn`t recorded on camera unfortunately (he was the first to achieve more than 147).
153 though, 👌 wow.
