I’ve just read this news tonight on the BBC News.
Doug Allan from Dunfermline. He worked as a wildlife photographer with people such as David Attenborough. He has sadly died whilst walking in Nepal.
His father originally had a photography shop in Dunfermline. I met Doug Allan a few years ago when he was the guest writer at a Waterstones event. He signed my book of his Planet Earth photography. Such a lovely interesting man.

I`ve just read that too, buffy. I have a vague notion his father (Morris Allan?) was involved in filming some of the Pars` European ties at EEP for the TV companies. I think the films had to be rushed to Glasgow by motor bike for processing so highlights could be transmitted later on the night of the match.
