If you are into John Grisham books and use Kindle - currently 10 titles available from Amazon @ 99p each.
Scroll though the titles - a 24 hour (ish) window to purchase.
From time to time a book or two of his is offered at this price - never seen so many to purchase at one time.

There are several sites, including piratebay and Anna`s archive, that offer millions of book for free in epub/Pdf format. The legality of them is dubious, and I would never ever advise visiting Anna`s archive to download every book you could ever possibly want for free.
Equally, there are tutorials online and on YouTube on how to use these files and read them on your kindle, thereby allowing you unlimited access to every book published, and in many cases before it even hits the shelf, for free. It`s naughty tho, so do not do it.
The 🏴☠️ reference means it`s a form of pirating, similar to buying dodgy dvds, watching stuff on the firestick etc.
It`s all very bad, every time you download a book for free, a baby seal dies, so please never look into this as a way to enhance your reading library.
As a further warning, there are similar sites dedicated to magazine pdfs, so if you read magazines on your tablet, be careful not to search for free magazine Pdf download. That`s very naughty too, and baby pigeons die every time you download Take A Break or That`s Life.
You`ve been warned 🏴☠️😉

Thanks for the heads up.

Fair play.
Personally, I always read physical books, but I like to keep an epub copy of what I`m reading on my phone, in case I find myself in a waiting room or on a bus etc and can get a few pages in without the book to hand

Kindle was like manna from heaven when it came out - no need to lug paperbacks around and the font size could be altered to suit short sighted Mr. Magoos like me.
The only negative was the government`s slow response to removing VAT on electronic books, since rescinded.
After I had my cataract procedure a couple of years ago I was able to read without glasses.
