Sadly, former Scottish internationalist and Hall of Fame legend, Scott Hastings lost his battle with cancer this morning at the age of 61.
A real hero of Scottish rugby, along with his brother, who won the Grand Slam with Scotland in 1990 before venturing into broadcasting after with a very noticeable voice.
RIP

That`s really sad news , I was at that 1990 Grand Slam match , what a wonderful memory. Thoughts are with his family.

Awful news. An excellent player and commentator.
He seemed like a very decent human being.

Terrible news! He was a brilliant speaker and he made the most that he could have from his rugby career. It’s easy to forget he was a lion!! He’s going to be a great loss.
