It’s been a very sad case in the news these past few weeks. The man in question has just been sentenced to 20 years for his 67 offences over a 12 year period.
If you don’t know / haven’t been following it I’d advise you not to read about any of the offences.
The families of the deceased have been dignified in every way and I cannot imagine how they’ve managed to do that. My thoughts have been with them all since this news came about.

One of a few stories in the news today where the sentence seems completely insufficient.
Hull is one of the poorest places in the UK , and I suspect these will be some of the poorest people in that city.
They will face trauma about this for the rest of their lives. The judge pointed out that the offender had been responsible for more than 2000 burials over his career so every single one of them will now have unanswerable questions.
A tragic case.

I read some of the details when this case come to light, it was one of those instances where I felt I knew all I wanted to know and just wait for the outcome.
Horrific stuff, beyond comprehension, I don`t see why as a society we should be forced to share streets with these people, even if it is 10/20 years away.
