When I saw the headline :-
BP`s $5.7bn profit highest since 2022 as Iran war pushes up oil price
I thought it was for the year .. turns out its for April May and June !!!
Environmental and poverty campaigners blasted BP for "profiteering" off skyrocketing oil prices.

Not just BP. Petrol stations quick to put the price up but not so good at bringing them down. Pretty sure Duloch Tesco is 10p a litre more than Corstorphine so we`re being double screwed. I`m going to look at getting an EV.

Apparently there`s more than £200,000 worth of fuel stolen every single day in the UK, vehicles that get filled up at the forecourt and nash off without paying. I guess the rest of us need to pay more for our fuel to cover these freeloaders

Certainly a lot of people have made a lot of money over this Iran crisis. It`s pretty clear that Trump and his cronies are manipulating the market, it would be very interesting to see the trades from those close to him before and after he tweets. He has made the crisis, and while his flip-flopping over the situation could be seen as ineptitude, I think his statements on social media either declaring a peace deal is close, or that Iran are going to be bombed into the stone ages are really designed to move the markets.
I see Trump`s media group are actually trying to sell exclusive access passes to financial brokers for $100,000, so they get access to his social media posts before every one else, that will give them time to buy and sell before everyone else does, for me, that pretty much confirms what`s going on. He should be in jail
