The listing has been removed but it could be used for not just housing.
“The site has planning permission in principle for a mixed use development, which includes housing, retirement housing, leisure, a hotel, solar, industrial and buiness space, garden centre, and a golf course.
The site also benefits from 2 historic mine shafts that have the facility to deliver 2,200 megawatts of heating energy either for power generation or a district heating system.”

It was/is supposed to be a big complex involving a golf course, holiday homes, business and residential.
I`m not convinced we need or can support another golf club in the area. There`s already half a dozen.

Plenty room for golf courses……problem is the green fees would most likely be expensive as f**k like the current, non council courses.

There`s room but they`re expensive to run, which is why green fees are dear.
